Can Glens reading glasses replace my old reading glasses?

Our glasses are backup reading glasses. They are not a substitute for your regular reading glasses, but they can help you out in situations when your regular glasses are not with you. Glens glasses were designed to use in circumstances when you do not have your traditional reading glasses with you, but you prefer Glens glasses because it is comfortable and easy to have them with you no matter when and where, because beeing so light and small, they take almost no space.

How many dioptric strengths do Glens glasses have?

We have three types of strengths: +1.5, +2.0, +2.5.

What about products lost or damaged during the shipment?

We apologize for any lost or damaged products. We take full responsibility for damaged or lost items and will replace the ordered products after receiving the Claim by e-mail to info@glens.com (NB! Please add the number of your order).

I have my usual reading glasses, but why do I need then Glens reading glasses which are so small?

Yes, exactly this is one of main advantages of Glens back up reading glasses that they are so small, that perfectly fitting in smallest thinnest bag, in pocket, in wallet, in mobile case, as a bookmark in your diary etc. Glens reading glasses are helping you always out if you can not take your usual reading glasses with you because of their size or if you simply forgot to take them. Having just for any case even in your wallet one pack of Glens glasses (size of our package is same as size of bank card) can make you so happy in some situations when your main reading glasses are not so close or not even with you.

In which situations I may need Glens glasses?

There is the list just to give you an idea:

What is the difference between glasses in different packages?

Glens glasses we have in 3 dioptric values: +1,5 and +2 and +2,5
Dioptric value is always written on the package. You noticed well, that we have different packages:

Classic package
Dark carbon package
ECO package (from recyclable paper)
Military package (from recyclable paper)
Customized package created as customer would like it to be
Glasses in plastic film
Glasses in these different packages are always the same, only difference is the dioptric value and glasses in plastic film can be or with 2 small holes for wearing them with silver chain or without small holes just for normal use without chain

What are you calling as a "keeper"?

We call as a keeper one small very useful accessory for glasses, it is like glass holder made of foam which has sticker in one side, so it can be placed exactly where you would like to have your glasses always waiting for you. You can place it on dashboard of car, on computer, on wall, on cupboad, on mirror etc. Our keepers are white and also black.

How do I wear Glens reading glasses?

Use three fingers to handle the glasses. Three little knobs on top of the bridge help to adjust the glasses in the right and comfortable position. The glasses can be worn on any part of your nose. When placed closer to the eyes, the visual field becomes larger. Glens reading glasses are not suitable for long-term use and driving a car.
